I don't really care about having him myself, since I never use Easy, but I'll test it one day out of curiousity I suppose. I don't recall any mention of that in the updates around that time, but I'm not always paying close attention or remember things. but after the update to the 13th chapter i think they gave it to everyone which was around the same time they removed both demos from ps and XB stores. My wife and i played the console version, i played demo and tested it and she did not play demo and he saved me and she got a game over. no if you didnt play the demo you didnt get him till the update that happened for chapter 13 on console, thats when they gave it to everyone. I always thought I didn't have him, but I'm told the trick is to be in Easy mode (which I knew), but then you have to have Noct die AND let the Phoenix Down timer run out. I think demo was for being able to name him, not to have him. Not sure about the Windows Edition or Royal Edition.Īlso Carbuncle ONLY shows up in Easy Mode.
